The Commandery of King Offa invites you to attend a Royal Oak Apple Day Celebration, to be held on Saturday 2nd June 2018 in aid of the St Lazarus charity.  This event will take place in at the Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, Church Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17 2EB.

The celebrations will start at 2:15pm with a concert of music and songs to mark Oak Apple Day performed by the multi-talented Mr Tony Wade. Tour of the Museum of the Order of St John, St John's Gate, London, EC1M 4DA

We are fortunate to have secured places for a private tour of the Museum of the Order of St John in Clerkenwell. The Museum of the Order of St John is one of the great hidden treasures of London, tracing the continuous history of a charity that dates back over 900 years. There will be a meeting of the Chapter General of the Order in Madrid on Saturday May 05, 2018 at 11.00 to elect the 50th Grand Master of the Order.  There is only one candidate, HE Don Francisco de Borbón Graf von Hardenberg GCLJ.  In accordance with the Constitution, Don Francisco became Interim Grand Master of the Order on the death of the 49th Grand Master in August 2017.   The meeting will be held in the Hotel Meliá Madrid Serrano.
