Carol service - Commandery of King Offa

'O come all ye faithful'

The Carol Service held by King Offa Commandery in the English Midlands was a great success and a very happy occasion despite very snowy and icy conditions. It was held at the ancient church of St Wilfrid, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England.

A substantial charitable donation was presented by the Commander Chevalier Mario Rizzardi KCLJ CMLJ to Mrs Sue Wells OMLJ of the Nepal Leprosy Trust.

Mrs Edwina Morris MMLJ was presented with her insignia as a member of the Companionate of Merit.

A bursary was also awarded to Miss Julie-Ann Amartey to support her upcoming medical elective in Africa where she will be studying tropical

diseases.

Those supporting this event also kindly brought along many hundreds of pairs of warm winter socks to again support homeless people.
