The Cumbria Commandery held its Annual Church Service of Celebration & Renewal of Knightly Vows on Saturday 7th March in the Parish Church of St Michael and All The Angels, Beetham.
The Service was led by our Commandery Chaplain, The Reverend Canon Andrew Horsfall ChLJ, and we welcomed as our preacher The Reverend Fr. Robin Nash OStJ, ChLJ, SSC, the Commandery Chaplain of our sister Commandery of Rose d’Or in Hampshire. During the service the organ accompaniment was played by Mr Charles Edmondson.
Members of the Cumbria Commandery were joined by members of their families. We welcomed five members from the Commandery of King Offa in the East Midlands; one member from the Commandery of London & Westminster; two members from the Commandery of The Marches in Shropshire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire; together with our preacher from the Commandery of Rose d’Or in Hampshire.
Following the service, 15 members and guests met in The Wheatsheaf, Beetham for lunch.
