The Grand Priory of England and Wales invites Postulants, Members of the Order and their guests to this event, the programme for which appears below.
The Investiture Service will take place in The Wren Chapel of The Royal Hospital Chelsea, Royal Hospital Road, London, SW3 4SR, followed by lunch in The State Apartments of the Royal Hospital.
Saturday 25th April
9.15am Deputy Marshals report to the Marshal in the Wren Chapel.
9.30am Other Ceremonial Officers report to the Marshal.
9.45am Postulants, promotees and those receiving awards report to the Marshal.
10.30am Members assemble and robe quietly.
11.00am Service of Investiture.
Investing Officer: The Grand Prior, The Most Honourable the Marquis of Lothian GCLJ, assisted by H.E. the Chevalier Edward White GCLJ, Grand Commander of the Order.
Preacher: His Eminence, Archbishop Angaelos, first Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London.
12.45pm Drinks in the Ante-Room of The State Apartments.
1.15pm Lunch in The State Apartments.
