The Grand Priory’s Autumn National Investiture will take place at St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, on Saturday 18th October at 11.00am.

We are very privileged to have as our guest of honour this year, the Grand Commander of the Order, H.E. Rear Admiral the Chevalier Kenneth P. Moritsugu GCLJ.  We shall also be investing postulants from the newly formed Delegation of the Canary Islands (part of the International Grand Bailiwick of the Order) created by one of the former chaplains of the Commandery of Cumbria, the popular Rev’d Fr David Brown SChLJ.

The Commander of the Commandery of Cumbria invites Members of the Order and their guests to attend the Commandery of Cumbria Annual Church Service and Rededication of Knightly Vows at St. Patrick's Church, Preston Patrick, Cumbria, LA7 7NY on Saturday 17th May 2025 at 11.00am.

All members of the Order and their friends and guests are warmly invited to attend.

The Spring National Investiture Service of the Grand Priory of England & Wales will take place on Saturday 10 May 2025 at The Cathedral Church of Our Lady Help of Christians and Saint Peter of Alcantara-Moors, Town Walls, Shrewsbury SY1 1UE, followed by a reception and lunch at Prestfelde Preparatory School, London Road, Shrewsbury SY2 6NZ.

For those arriving on Friday 9 May a wine tasting and fork supper has been arranged at the historic premises of Tanner’s Wine Merchants, 26 Wyle Cop, Shrewsbury SY1 1XD.

The Investiture Service will take place at the Cardiff Oratory Church of St Alban-on-the-Moors, Swinton Street, Splott, Cardiff, CF24 2NX, followed by a reception and lunch at The Cardiff and County Club.

The Commander, Chevalier Alan Howls, invites you to the Annual Service of Celebration & Renewal of Knightly Vows at The Priory and Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Bromfield, near Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 2JP, on Saturday 29 September 2024 at 3.30 p.m. Commandery members are requested to attend and others are most welcome.

Opening and welcome will be given by the Vicar of St. Mary the Virgin’s Church, our own Chaplain the Reverend Fr. Justin Parker SChLJ and together with Reverend Edward Ward SChLJ they will then conduct the Service.

To mark the tenth anniversary of the Order’s international pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in 2014 led by the 49th Grand Master (the late Don Carlos Gereda y de Borbon) the Grand Priory of England & Wales has been given permission by the Guardians and Administrator of the Anglican Shrine to conduct a pilgrimage to Walsingham from Thursday 30th May to Sunday 2nd June 2024. The Grand Prior, Bailiff and Chaplain-General will lead the Grand Priory on this pilgrimage, during which the Grand Priory will also hold its Spring National Investiture Service.

The Commander, Chevalier Dr David Knox KLJ OMLJ cordially invites you, together with your friends and guests, to the Cumbria Commandery Church Service with the Rededication of Vows on Saturday 20th April 2024 at 11.00am.
The service will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Preston Patrick LA7 7NY and will be conducted by the Commandery Chaplain, the Reverend Canon Andrew Horsfall SChLJ, the preacher will be the Venerable David Picken MA, Archdeacon of Lancaster.

The Commandery of Sussex is pleased to invite all members and friends of the Order of St Lazarus to a World Leprosy Day Appeal lunch on Saturday 6 April 2024 at St Michael's Church Hall, St Michael's Place, Brighton, BN1 3FU.  

We hope as many people as possible from Sussex and beyond will be able to join us for what promises to be a special event including a fascinating presentation from someone who has been hugely affected by leprosy themselves.

This traditional service tells the Nativity story and contains our favourite Carols.

The autumn National Investiture of the Grand Priory of England & Wales will be held on Saturday October 21 in St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, courtesy of the Vicar, the Rev'd Canon Alan Gyle SChLJ and in the presence of the Grand Master Emeritus, HH The Duke of Seville GCLJ.  The service will start at 11am.  At the end of the Investiture Ceremony, Chev. David Woolf, currently a Deputy Bailiff and Commander of Wales, will be installed as the new Bailiff of the Grand Priory by the Grand Master Emeritus.  Full details of the Investiture and celebration lunch may be downloaded here....
