With thanks to our Senior Chaplain, Fr Paul Bagott SChLJ, this year’s London & Westminster Carol Service will take place at St Cuthbert’s Church, Philbeach Gardens on Wednesday 18th December at 7pm. We will be joining members of the St Cuthbert’s parish for this event – and will be led by their choir; as well as having a number of opportunities to join in with congregational carols.
The service itself is free to attend, but there will be a collection during the service to support the parish and the work of the Order. After Carols, a light supper will be served, along with drinks...
moreThe Advent Carol Service will take place on Sunday, 1st December 2019 at St Mary’s Church Hertingfordbury, St Mary’s Lane, Hertford, SG14 2LD commencing at 1600 hrs. It will be conducted by The Revd Rosemary Caruana, SChLJ, OMLJ.
After the service we will dine at Mayflower Place, Hertingfordbury Road, Hertingfordbury, Hertford, SG14 2LG.

The Commandery of King Offa’s Annual Advent Carol Service will take place on Sunday 1st December 2019 at 12.15pm. The service, conducted by our Senior Chaplain, the Reverend John Burgess and our Chaplain, the Reverend Kevin Charles, will be held at St Wilfrid’s Church, Church Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire NG17 8LA.
The service will focus on the Nativity story through the reading of the traditional lessons and the singing of well-known carols, and will be followed at 2.00pm by a 3-course luncheon, with a vegetarian option, at £17.00 per person, in The Abraham Lincoln...

moreThe Commandery has recently sponsored a medical student who has just completed her medical elective at the Christian Medical College in Vellore, India.
Jessica has spent her elective working with patients suffering from leprosy and the after-effects of the disease. We have now invited her to come and talk to members of the Commandery and share her experiences. After a short presentation, and questions, we then have a chance to meet Jessica informally over dinner.
