The Grand Priory of England and Wales is part of the international Military and Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem, which operates through 43 jurisdictions in 36 countries worldwide.

The Order’s work is overseen from its headquarters in Madrid by its Grand Master, Francisco de Borbon Graf von Hardenberg. Its Spiritual Protector is the Melkite Patriach His Beatitude Youssef Absi.
