The Revd Kevin Charles ChLJ , King Offa Commandery Chaplain, led the National Ambulance Memorial Service held on Thursday 13th September 2018. Following a service in the Chapel of Peace, the commemoration moved to the Ambulance Service Garden of Remembrance for a service to honour the memory of all those no longer with us who have served in ambulance services in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, and Gibraltar. Wreaths were laid and the Roll of Honour read out.

On Saturday 14th July 2018 thirty-seven members of the Commandery of Wales and their guests gathered at the ancient church of St Senwyr, within the grounds of Llansannor Court, to celebrate Vespers in anticipation of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  Following the amalgamation of the Order of St Lazarus with the Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in 1668, this has been a day of devotion for our Order.  This is the reason why an image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel appears on the reverse face of our insignia.

The beautiful setting of The Cathedral Church of The Holy Trinity Chichester saw the National Investiture of the Grand Priory of England and Wales on Saturday 28th April 2018.

With members, visitors and guests in attendance, the Choir sang the Introit ‘Non nobis, Domine’ as the Grand Prior, The Most Honourable the Marquis of Lothian PC, GCLJ, QC, DL, The Rt. What a truly tremendously talented travelling troupe of thespians and marvellous mellifluous musicians there are within our Commandery, who proficiently performed under the absolutely ardent anticipation of our very own effervescent and enormously entertaining Commander, Chevalier Mario Rizzardi, during our exceptional Edwardian event held on 23rd March 2018.
