On Saturday 14th July 2018 thirty-seven members of the Commandery of Wales and their guests gathered at the ancient church of St Senwyr, within the grounds of Llansannor Court, to celebrate Vespers in anticipation of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  Following the amalgamation of the Order of St Lazarus with the Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in 1668, this has been a day of devotion for our Order.  This is the reason why an image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel appears on the reverse face of our insignia.

The beautiful setting of The Cathedral Church of The Holy Trinity Chichester saw the National Investiture of the Grand Priory of England and Wales on Saturday 28th April 2018.

What a truly tremendously talented travelling troupe of thespians and marvellous mellifluous musicians there are within our Commandery, who proficiently performed under the absolutely ardent anticipation of our very own effervescent and enormously entertaining Commander, Chevalier Mario Rizzardi, during our exceptional Edwardian event held on 23rd March 2018.

The Grand Priory of England and Wales held the National (Northern) Services of Vigil and Investiture in Liverpool on the 27th and 28th October 2017.

This took place in Liverpool Parish Church, dedicated to Our Lady and St Nicholas, which is situated near the famous Royal Liver Building at the Pier Head on the Mersey, by permission of the Rector, the Revd Dr Crispin Pailing.

The International Pilgrimage of the Order in June was a great success, increased by the attendance of the Grand Master and the Grand Master Emeritus, and everyone attending was very appreciative of the work and effort that had gone into preparing for the event.  The weather was perfect: not too hot, with glorious sunshine throughout.  It would be difficult to choose better locations anywhere in Italy.  Both Palermo and Monreale are filled with magnificent ancient monuments and churches steeped in history.  The atmosphere among members attending was formal  where required, but generally...
